Vision

Our vision is a world where the Madhibaan, Yibir, Tumaal, Muse Dhariyo and other marginalized communities thrive with equal opportunities, dignity, and representation. We envision a future where the rich cultural heritage of these groups is celebrated, their rights fully recognized, and their contributions valued across societies in East Africa and the diaspora.

Within the future, we hope to reach as many lives as possible and make meaningful changes. Our goals are to tell the history, struggles, and stories of the marginalized clans from their own perspectives, and to create a space where these communities can voice their issues and find solutions. We aim to provide humanitarian aid, promote access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities, and foster economic development for marginalized groups. Additionally, we will work to protect the cultural identity of the marginalized clans from exploitation and ensure that their names are not misused in the asylum process.

We will also open our platform to other marginalized groups who need a space to voice their concerns and work to assist them in any way we can. Through unity, advocacy, and empowerment, USR strives to create a society where all marginalized communities are free from discrimination, have access to resources, and can achieve their full potential.
