Mission Statement

United Somali Roots (USR) is dedicated to uniting and supporting the marginalized Madhiban, Tumal, Yibir, Muse Dhariyo communities across Somalia, Somaliland, Ethiopia, Kenya, Djibouti, and the global diaspora. Our mission is to address the systemic challenges faced by the Gabooye, providing humanitarian aid, promoting access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities, and advocating for the rights and inclusion of this historically marginalized group. By empowering individuals, fostering cultural preservation, and protecting the Madhiban, Tumal, Yibir, Muse Dhariyo identities from misuse, we strive to create lasting change and elevate the voices of those long excluded from governance and social equality. USR is not limited to these specific marginalized communities but welcomes all those who share similar struggles with us in the horn of Africa such as the Bantu, Ashraf, etc. Together, we are building a future where marginalization is a thing of the past, and all members of our community can thrive with dignity and opportunity.
